Variation based on the Morphganics series.
Same base recipe, that produce the organic animation, with additional procedural textures to generate more and richer golden (Au) surface details.

A combination of procedural deformations and morphs drives both geometry and material to produce some fluid, organic, almost hypnotic shapes.
Originally created in 2017, the project has been updated several times and is also used in the Art gallery project.

It is presented here in a series of different materials.

Initially an ‘R&D’ test from 2022, at the request of a digital agency, here is a slightly more finished mock-up of one of those giant 3D billboards that are popping up here and there, mainly in South East Asia. It looks quite similar to those trompe l’œil drawn on sidewalks, but animated obviously, despite some fuzzy reading about the so-called innovative and advanced projection technologies. Anyway, some photos shot from different angles were revealing some projection distortions, confirmed that whatever the display technology is, naked-eye 3D or not, the viewer has to be on the right spot to get the best experience.
The technique shown here applies to L-shaped and curved screens.

From a dense point cloud, many connections develop, weaving a network revealing a shape. Here, an evocation of the barrel chair (chaise «Tonneau»), by designer Pierre Guariche.

This technique can be applied to all kind of objects.
